Vitamimns and Minerals 

Vitamins and minerals are compounds necessary for the healthy functioning of our bodies. We need vitamins and minerals to help us grow, to see properly, to make bones, muscles, skin and organs, as well as to help us battle infections. Deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals can lead to serious problems.

Essential Oils

Essential Oils an oil that comes from a plant, that smells like the plant it comes from, and that is used in perfumes and flavorings.Essential oil is a mixture of volatile (air soluble) or fragrant ingredients present in the herb. Essential oils are also called herbal essences, aromatic essences or fragrant essences. Usually these essences are not soluble in water but freely dissolve in the oil. Many essential oils were discovered long ago, before or during medieval times and used since then in cooking, medicinal or cosmetic purposes. Traditionally essential oils have been obtained via steam distillation of raw herbal material, today other methods are also used, such as liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) extraction.

Herbs have long been used as the basis of traditional Chinese herbal medicine, with usage dating as far back as the first century and far before.

Weight Management 

Weight management is a long-term approach to a healthy lifestyle. It includes a balance of healthy eating and physical exercise to equate energy expenditure and energy intake. Developing healthy eating habits while using tips that will keep us fuller longer can be useful tools in weight management.

Adaptogens increase the efficiency of the healing system or help it neutralize harmful influences of stress and overtraining. Tonics (another term often used for adaptogenic-type herbs) are natural products that do just this, and they are one of my special interests. In the sense of a strengthening, the word ”tonic” derives from a Greek word meaning “stretch.” Adaptogens or tonics stretch or tone our systems in the way physical exercise tones our muscles. Working the body subjecting it to graduated tension followed by relaxation increases natural resilience, an essential quality of health, because it determines our responsiveness to environmental stress. The more resilient we are, the greater our ability to bounce back from any kind of stress or injury.

Personal Care 

Herbal oils in dietary supplement and personal care products are frequently associated with health or nutritional claims. To evaluate the validity of these claims it is important to know the type of oil, since several types of herbal oils with different properties may be obtained from the same plant.
